Digital Timestamp Service is the service that certifies the existence of a certain electronic transaction at a certain time by denoting the time at which the timestamp request is received by the Timestamp Authority. The applicant sends the transaction’s message digest (no information data is sent nor accessible) in the timestamp request to The Time Stamp Authority. Once receiving the request, the system stamps the date and/or time derived from the standard time source in order to prevent the time inconsistency problem, and then digitally signs the message.

        At present, TDID provides the Digital Timestamp service to facilitate the fine-grained reliability and trust for any electronic transactions as well as to strengthen the future expansion of the e-commerce in Thailand.
