Thai Digital ID Company Limited was established in 2000. It has its first key pair, called "Root Key," generated on September 4, 2000. The Key Generation Ceremony was witnessed by representatives of government bodies and reputable figures from various industries, such as Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Commerce, Telephone Organization of Thailand, Communication Authority of Thailand, and an International Audit firm.

Due to the increasing popularity of internet technology, business transactions tend to move towards the online transactions. In order to develop the trust which is the most crucial infrastructure for any electronic transactions, TDID has focused its mission toward establishing the

trustworthy CA service center to facilitate e-Commerce in the private and government sectors in every aspect. TDID serves as a CA hosting service provider who offers establishment as well as operation management to any organization that needs the CA system for the security of their business purposes.


      Consequently, TDID focuses its core on establishing the state-of-art information security infrastructure to support e-Business in Thailand by providing the following four main PKI services.

CA Service

As one of the CA provider in Thailand, TDID deploys the certification service based on the hardware and software internationally certified by FIPS 140-2 and EAL 4+ as well as the ISO 27001 standard for CA operation management. There are two types of certificate currently issued by TDID CA: Enterprise Certificate, and SSL Certificate.

Digital Timestamp Service

Digital Timestamp Service is the service that certifies the existence of a certain electronic transaction at a certain time by denoting the time at which the timestamp request is received by the Timestamp Authority. The applicant sends the transaction’s message digest (no information data is sent nor accessible) in the timestamp request to The Time Stamp Authority. Once receiving the request, the system stamps the date and/or time derived from the standard time source in order to prevent the time inconsistency problem, and then digitally signs the message.

PKI Implementation Service

To provide the unrivalled service for IT security development for customers who would like to set up the full-scale CA system, TDID offers PKI Implementation service to satisfy such a need. This service includes the design and development of CA system and related CA procedures with respect to the international standard. The implementation service can be conducted at the customer’s site (PKI On-Site Implementation). Alternatively, the customer may outsource the CA set-up service and operation to TDID (PKI Hosting Service) to significantly reduce the cost and development time as well as to let their service to be operated by professional.

TDID has experienced in implementing IT security based on PKI technology for over 10 years. With the strong knowledge in the area of expertise and cooperation with overseas partners who are internationally well-know in the security industry, we has been authorized as a reseller of Safenet, Entrust and Adobe to sell the HSM, Token (PKI Hardware), Entrust Software (CA Software) and Adobe LiveCycle (Digital Signature Software) to corporate customers in Thailand. This service includes the post-sell and customer technical support maintenance.
